Workshops
Workshops will be held on Thursday and Friday during the first weekend of December.
The classes are one hour long. They include an introductory docent tour and workshops creating projects to take with them.
THURSDAY, December 5th
- 1:00 Clay!! Students will be guided to create clay sculptures and an opportunity to experience the potter’s wheel.
FRIDAY, December 6th
- 9:00 Native American culture. Percy Warcloud Edwards will present and tell stories about artifacts and traditions from his own native culture. Students will then make necklaces in a traditional method. (New this year!)
- 10:00 Native American Culture. See above.
- 11:00 Basketry. Artist Cass Schorsch will lead the students in creating baskets.
- 12:00 Basketry. See above. This is a difficult time period because of lunch. Ideas?
- 1:15 Soft sculpture. Artist Barbara Thulin will lead students to sew and decorate small soft sculptures.
The show will continue through the weekend! Come on by!
