My paintings attempt to capture the energy of a moment, in a world of change.
James has exhibited in Jerome and Clarkdale the last few years. Painting is a new pleasure for him. He spent his professional career as a musician, playing with various rock bands, jazz combos, pit orchestras and big bands and ran a successful graphic design firm in Detroit for 16 years before moving to Arizona.
James is an administrator, a pretty good cook (according to him) and probably one of the worst home repairman you could ever meet. He takes care of a cat named Bozo, rides his motorcycle, grows roses and tries to enjoy the moment.
